Wine United Here

ProWein 2013 again reconnected wines from around the world. Trade visitors from throughout the world (more than 44,000; ProWein 2012: 40,667 visitors) had the chance for a good deal. On the other hand this event is like a paradise for wine lover- journalists and wine bloggers. You just have to make a plan (4,783 exhibitors from some 48 countries) and then in 3 days follow, discover and monitor the wine compared to previous years. This year the organizers have not raised any wine varieties, but they have “advertised” wines from China, Lebanon and South England. I also like wine tasting zone organized by Weinwirtschaft – this year topic was “Fashionable and Leading Varieties” (Riesling, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Grigio, Pinot Blanc, Gruner Veltliner, Viognier, Verdejo, Verdello; Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Shiraz, Grenache, Tempranillo, Sangiovese, Blaufrankisch).

On the show were TOP Slovenian wine makers:

Vinska klet Goriška Brda, Vipava 1894, Vinakoper, Vinakras, Ptujska klet, Radgonske gorice, KZ Metlika, Dveri – Pax, P&F Jeruzalem Ormož, Kogl, Verus, MarjanSimčič, Stojan Ščurek, Marof, Černe, Mulec, Tilia, Santomas, Joannes Protner, Steyer, Valdhuber, Guerila, Sutor, Kupljen, Druzovič SiSi, Edi Simčič, Istenič.
