What: 24 vineries & 21 restaurants from Italian & Slovenian Karst (Primorska wine region – West Slovenia)

Food & Wine Event - Vitovska & Morje (Sea) is organized by the committee of wineries from Kras – Carso for the protection of Karst wine of origin (odbor kraških vinarjev za zaščito kontroliranega porekla Carso – Kras). Devin Castle is always the best choice for presentation of indigenous grape variety called Vitovska. Young is fresh & full of mineral (Bajta Vitovska 2011), aged can be with tertiary aromas, such us petroleum aromas, which sometimes reminds of Riesling (Škerk Vitovska 2004).
