What: Pubec - Young Wine from Štajerska Slovenia

The very first Salon of Young Wines from Štajerska Slovenia presented 27 Winemakers, united under Pubec Project (in Slovenian Pubec is described as a young Gentleman). Project Manager Mr. Borut Cvetko from Mediaspeed said that one of the goals of Pubec Project is to present the young wines of Štajerska Slovenia to the wider circles of Winelovers and has been reached soon after the event.opened the door. Salon Pubec hosted 700 visitors, from the industry, journalists and winelovers to those who has started to discover the wine scene. By the expectations, wines has been fresh and fruity with vivid acidity, mainly domestic varieties from Štajerska such as Welsch Riesling, Furminth and Muscat. United under the brand Winemakers streem to reach higher recognition in Slovenian and wider markets. Next Salon Pubec is going to take place in Maribor and Ljubljana next year on November 7.
