The largest showcase of Austrian wine. One of the most elegant wine trade fair in the world, why? The place where wine fair is held is Hofburg - the former principal imperial palace of the Habsburg dynasty in Austria. Located in the centre of Vienna,
VieVinum tooks its place every 2 years. Organisers wrote: »500 Austrian wineries exhibited their products in Vienna’s Hofburg, which welcomed more than 1,200 wine experts from 58 countries, making this year’s VieVinum a record-breaking event. Never before have so many international guests travelled to Vienna.” After the event I was thinking about Slovenian wine boar – which we do not have. How come Austrian wine board and vine makers reaps such a success? The answer is up. In Slovenia for wine festivals foreign experts are never invited or if they are, very rare and in minimum amounts. Ah. OK, let’s talk about wine festival in Vienna and Austrian wines. Again very professional organization. Wines keep on with quality. I loved to see how in a rising is nature friendly production. We tasted all wine regions. No complains, all I can say – just keep on northern neighbors.
