What: presentation of 3 new wines
5 hills, 5 locations, 5 varieties, 5 brothers - Ščurek, 5 strings, 3 new fresh wines. What can you possibly need more this summer? Well, for everybody who don’t know, Ščurek Winery: with its 17 ha of vineyards lies in Brda (Primorska wine region), near the Italian border. They are famous with white and red Stara brajda, UP, Kontra, Pikolit and sweet Story, which are matured in the cellar, full of wooden barrels, … But this time, they presented us light wines for summer time!
Here they go:
Strings – white cuvee 2009, (30% Chardonay, 20% Rebula, 20% Sauvignonasse, 20% Pinot Gris, 10% Pinot Blanc.
Strings - rose cuvee 2009, (35% Merlot, 25 % Pinot Noir, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Cabernet Franc, 10% Refošk).
Strings - red cuvee 2009, (30% Merlot, 25 % Pinot Noir, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Refošk, 10% Cabernet Franc).
