Wines from Jeruzalem
by stasa cafuta (text & photo)
Where: Dvorec Jeruzalem, Slovenia
When: 11. June 2011
What: 15 wineries from “Prlekija”, Štajerska Slovenija wine region
I am repeating my self, but what is true is true: Jeruzalem hills on the east part of Slovenia, close to town Ormož, are one of the most beautiful, breathtaking landscapes. Angela Muir (MV) said “Jeruzalem is TOP END wine region on the world.” However, wine growers showed this year again some very nice wines and I still can not forget sauvignon 2002 from MiroVino. It was mature, but fresh and so alive.
