Radgonske gorice are celebrating! It's a 160 years since the first Slovenian sparkling wine was produced. The event itself was an opening of a renewed old building which is now a very nice wine shop, a club room and conference room. There was music,nice food and of course a lot of sparkling wine. Real highlight for me was an opportunity taste two exceptional sparkling wines Zlata radgonska penina (Radgona Gold) vintages 1979 and 1984. Both still fresh. But the bubbles, you can not see them, you can only taste them, so small and fine the are. Something to remember.
