Zagreb Wine Gourmet Weekend is a new international festival of wine and food which was for the first time held in the Glyptotheque of the Croatian Academy of Arts and Sceinces. Perfect place & perfect atmosfere. Also the wineries that were represented were outstanding representatives of Croatian wine industry. Tasters felt by tasting the wines the warmness of the Croatian soil. In the program there were many wine and food degustation and workshops, among with the IMW (Institute of Masters of Wine). My favourite beside show was a film festival with the latest documentary films about wines and gastronomy. I would like to see it again: No Wine Left Behind (Lavish Laines Winery), 2011 – directed by Kevin Gordon.
