What is all about
The International Festival of Wine and Culinary Art is dedicated mostly to Croatian wines from all wine regions. Now for a few years the festival lasted for 4 day, the first 2 days were different wineries than the other 2 days. However this year we visited the first part of it, on thursday and it was worth it. Lots of space to taste in a quiet place in the iconic hotel Esplanade in Zagreb.
This year It catch my attention, a wine called DURANIJA - indigenous wine from Istria. »Durania is an old, autochthonous variety that Damjanić winery started revitalizing a few years ago,« told us winemakest wife who served us this light, fresh, white wine.
